CLAT Answer Key 2024 Download Provisional Answer Key [Official]

According to the latest notification released by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs), the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) answer key 2024 will be out a day after the CLAT-Law Entrance examination. The CLAT Answer Key will be released in online mode.

The CLAT Answer Key will come out in two stages namely: the CLAT provisional answer key and the CLAT final answer key 2024. NLU Jabalpur (DNLU) – Dharmashastra National Law University will release the CLAT 2021 answer key and if there are any objections, then the students can raise it.

The answer key of CLAT 2024 helps the candidates to cross-check their answers and if there are any discrepancies, then the candidates can raise objections within the specified time of 2 days. Once the time limit exceeds, no modifications or corrections will be accepted. After the objection filing process, the consortium will verify the objections and will release the final answer key of CLAT 2024.

Importance of CLAT provisional answer key 2024

The CLAT provisional answer key will include all the answers to the questions asked in the exam. The CLAT answer key will be released for all paper sets A, B, C, & D. Once the answer key is released, the candidates can go through them to verify if all the answers are correct. If there are any incorrect answers in the provisional answer key, the candidates can raise objections against it within a time of 3-4 days. Candidates can raise objections by using a supporting document to their answers.

CLAT Final Answer Key 2024

After referring to the provisional answer key, the candidates can raise their objections. The exam conducting body will review the objections and if there is any correction to be made, they will correct it and release the final answer key. Step 2: Click on the course and set link (A, B, C, or D) for which the candidate requires the answer key.

Step 3: CLAT answer key containing the tabular list of question wise correct options will appear on screen in the pdf format.

Step 4: Finally the candidate can view and download the CLAT answer key 2021 pdf.

How to raise objections on CLAT provisional answer key?

After evaluating the provisional answer key for their respective set, candidates can raise objections, if they find any discrepancies in the document. They can do so in the following steps:

Step 1: Candidate should visit the official site and click on the ‘Objections on answer key’.

Step 2: A login page appears where the candidate can enter their details like a registered mobile number and password to log into the page.

Step 3: Once the page appears, the candidate should click on the Provisional Answer Key Objections.

Step 4: Then the candidates can fill the details of objections, questions, and proof of claiming objections (if required).

Step 5: Finally, the candidate can submit the page to complete the process.

Once the candidate gets the final answer key 2023 the next step is to evaluate his/her answers to get a rough estimation of their scores. How to calculate marks through the final answer key 2023?

The formula to calculate the marks is given below:

CLAT Scores = Total numbers of Correct options*1 – Total number of incorrect responses*0.25

Let’s take an example:

If the candidate answers 130 questions correctly and 30 questions incorrectly, then the total marks obtained by the candidate are as follows:

Total Marks = (130*1) – (30*0.25)

= 130-7.25

= 122.5
