Common Entrance Exam for Central Universities 2023
The government has suggested that a Central Universities Common Entrance Test (cuet) be conducted for the 54 Central Universities and institutions from the academic session 2023-2024, in a move that might be a game-changer for higher education in India. Many people may be surprised to learn that a plan to reduce the strain of higher cut-offs in most prestigious central institutions has been in the works for quite some time. However, the Common Entrance Test was made possible by the National Education Policy (NEP), which intends to introduce dramatic reforms to the country’s educational system.
