The Jharkhand Judiciary Recruitment will be held in three stages. The candidates should qualify for all three phases to be selected for the post. First is the Preliminary Entrance Test – Written Examination that will have Multiple Choice Questions. The candidates who qualify the prelims exam will be eligible for the Mains exam. Jharkhand Judiciary Eligibility Criteria 2023
Educational Qualification: The candidate should have a Degree in Law from a reputed University. The candidate should also be enrolled as an advocate via the Advocates, Act, 1961 until the last date of submission of the application form. General Requirements: The candidate should be a citizen of India. Also, he/she should have good moral character and must not have any history with any criminal case that involves moral.
Age Limit: The lower age limit of the candidate is 22 years and the upper age limit is 35 years. For females or for the candidates belonging to SC/ST, there is a relaxation of the upper age limit by three years.

The viva-voce test will be held for 100 marks. The qualifying marks for General category students is 25% and for SC/ST/EBC & OBC category students is 20%. The final selection of the candidates will be done based on the marks obtained in the Mains Exam and the Interview rounds both.
If there is a tie in the marks of the candidates in the ultimate selection list, the candidates having the Post Graduate Degree will be given higher priority. Later, the candidate’s experience in practicing law, their age factor will be taken into consideration.
