NLAT Notification 2020: National Law Admission Test (NLAT) is conducted by the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bangalore. This exam is conducted to provide admissions in BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM courses. This year, the law school will be a part of the CLAT Consortium, but it will not accept the CLAT scores. It is because the CLAT 2020 selection process will take a long time to conclude admissions which will result in new academic sessions 2020-21.

NLAT Application Form 2020
The NLAT application form is available on the official website. The application process is only in the online mode, offline mode of the form will not be entertained.
How to apply for the NLAT 2020 exam?
- The candidate should register on the official website. He/she should use a valid phone number for registration in the NLAT 2020 exam.
- The candidate should log in using the registered mobile number and password.
- The candidate should then fill the application form with valid and correct details. In case of any alteration/editing in the NLAT application form can be done after successful submission.
- Then, the candidate should upload the scanned copy of the following documents:
- Passport size photograph of max size 1 MB, in Jpeg or Jpg format.
- Original government-issued photo ID proof (Passport, Driving License, Ration card, Aadhar card) of max size 1.5mb.
- Original marks sheet or pass certificate of standard 10 with a max size of 1.5 MB.
- Original marks sheet or pass certificate of standard 10+2 with a max size of 1.5 MB.
- Finally, the candidate should pay the application form fee.

NLAT Exam Pattern 2020
The candidates appearing for NLAT 2020 exam should be aware of the NLAT syllabus and the NLAT Exam Dates. The NLAT exam is an online entrance exam, so it will not be conducted at exam centers.
Test Structure
The NLAT 2020 US course comprises of 4 General Comprehension (“GC”) passages. Each passage consists of ten questions reaching a total of 40 questions. These ten questions will have two questions from the following five subjects:
- English Language
- Current Affairs Including General Knowledge
- Legal Reasoning
- Logical Reasoning
- Quantitative Techniques
Negative Marking
Each correct answer will gain two marks. Each unanswered question will lose 0.25 marks. Also, each wrong answer loses 0.5 marks.

NLAT Admit Card 2020
NLSIU Bangalore has not released any official notification on the NLAT admit card. More information regarding the admit card will be available after the conclusion of the registration process i.e 10 September 2020. The information about the admit card disbursement will be provided to the candidates on their registered email-ids.
NLAT Result 2020
The provisional answer key for NLAT 2020 will be released on 12 September 2020. In case of any objection, the candidates can send after the release. Once the provisional answer key is released, the candidates can check it to determine the performance and raise issues if needed. The NLAT Final Answer Key 2020 will be released on 14 September 2020 on the official website.
After the completion of the NLAT 2020 exam, the university will prepare the NLAT Merit list based on their marks secured. The university will also share the merit rank, aggregate marks, and marks of the last admitted candidate in their category. This year, there will only be one merit list.
