UP Judiciary Eligibility Criteria 2025
Educational Qualification
The candidate should hold a Bachelor of Laws degree from a reputed University of Uttar Pradesh. Or the candidate should be an Advocate enrolled under the provisions of the Advocate Act 1961. Or the candidate should be a Barrister of England or Northern Ireland or a Member Faculty of Advocates in Scotland. The candidate should be proficient in Devnagri Script of the Hindi language.
Age Limit
The candidate should over 22 years and less than 35 years as on the date indicated in the notice. In the case of the reserved categories like OBC/SC/ST, some relaxation will be given as per the state government rules.
General Requirements
The candidate should be a citizen of India with sound health, good moral character, and not linked to or have a history in any criminal case involving moral.

UP Judiciary Application Process 2025
To register for the online exam of UP Judiciary Services, the candidate should follow the below steps:
- The candidate should visit the official website of the UP Public Service Commission and click on the application form link. Check how to apply UP Judiciary.
- Now, the candidate should enter all the necessary details like name, date of birth, address, educational qualifications, and more.
- Then, the candidate should upload a scanned passport-size photo along with their signature in the required format and size.
- Finally, the candidate should pay the fees for the application.
UP Judiciary Exam Application Fees 2025
The application fees for the general category and for the OBC category candidates is Rs. 125/-. For the ST/ST/PWD category candidates, the application fees are Rs. 65/-.
UP Judiciary Admit Card 2025
After the document verification, the UP board will release the UP Judiciary Admit Card on the official website for all the eligible candidates. The candidates can visit the official website and download the admit card issued by the UP high court.
The admit card will be released 2 weeks prior to the examination date. Candidates should fill in all the necessary details and then download the admit card. Once the admit card is downloaded, the candidate should take the printout of it and keep it with them until the exam day. They should carry it to the exam hall for identity verification.

UP Judiciary Selection Process 2025
The selection process for the UP Judiciary Exam includes three rounds namely, Prelims, Mains, and Interview rounds. The prelims exam consists of MCQs. There are 2 composite papers for the written exam. Paper-I will be of 150 marks and Paper-II will be of 300 marks.
