The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will announce the RRB NTPC exam date soon. There are a total of 35,208 posts for the RRB NTPC exam. Nearly, 1.26 crore candidates applied for the exam and they are waiting for the Admit card and Application status of the form. The RRB NTPC admit card will be released four days before the exam.
RRB NTPC Admit Card 2020
The RRB NTPC admit card 2020 will be released on the regional websites of 21 RRBs. RRB NTPC 2020 first stage CBT will be held in August-September 2020 tentatively. The CBTs will be conducted in 15 different languages like Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Marathi, Manipuri, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
RRB NTPC CBT 1 Admit Card Important Updates
July 8: The Indian Railways will surrender 50% of the non-safety category posts. It is because new posts will be created.
July 2: The RRB NTPS 2020 exam conducting agency may be finalized in July 2020. Once it is finalized RRBs will announce the exam dates.
June 30: The Indian Railways notice reads, “The examination preparation process of RRB NTPC was at an advance stage when COVID-19 pandemic hit the country and a nation-wide lockdown was announced. Indian Railways is formulating a viable strategy to conduct a massive examination of 1.25 crore applicants and scheduling of all the processes, etc while observing all norms in COVID-19 scenario.”
June 29: The RRB NTPC 2020 admit card will be released four days before the exam date.
June 26: RRB NTPC 2020 exam will be held in 15 languages like Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
June 25: The RRB NTPC exam dates will be announced in July-August 2020.
June 24: After the announcement of the exam dates, the registered candidates will receive RRB NTPC admit card through the online portal.

The candidates can download the RRB NTPC CBT 1 admit card using the following steps:
- The candidate should visit the official websites of respective RRBs.
- Then, the candidate should click the admit card download link on the home page.
- After which they should enter the user ID (registration number) and password (date of birth).
- Finally, the admit card will appear on the screen.

How to download the RRB NTPC admit card if the candidate forgets the registration number?
- If the candidate forgets his/her registration number, then the candidate should click the ‘Forgot Registration Number’ tab.
- After clicking the link, two options will appear:
- Search by name and DOB
- Email ID and DOB
- The candidate should choose one option to retrieve the registration number. Then enter their name, mother’s name and DOB to login.

The RRB NTPC admit card will have two parts: Candidate’s copy and RRB copy. The invigilator will check the candidate’s copy at the exam center and the invigilator will retain the RRB copy. Important points
- Once the RRB NTPC admit card is released the candidates will be notified through SMS and email.
- The admit will not be sent through the post.
- While the candidate is downloading the admit card he/she should read the instructions carefully.
- Those SC/ST candidates who have selected a free rail travel facility, the admit card will have details about free travel authority.
- Candidates can book tickets on submitting their self-attested photocopy of the e-admit card.
- Candidates should carry the original SC/ST certificate and one ID proof while undertaking the journey.
- Candidate should carry one color photograph (size 35 mm x 45 mm) the same as the one uploaded during the registration process.
- Candidates should leave some blank spaces in the admit card for writing self-declaration paragraph, signature, and Left Thumb Impression (LTI).
- The candidate should write self-declaration paragraph, signature, and Left Thumb Impression (LTI) at the exam center in front of the invigilator and handover the same to them before the exam concludes.
RRB NTPC 2020 Exam Day Guidelines
- Carrying the items such as mobile phones, blue tooth, pen drive, laptops, calculators, wristwatches, pen/pencil, wallet/purses, belts, shoes and metallic wears including ornaments, etc are prohibited in the exam center.
- Candidates using unfair means will be debarred from appearing in the exam.
- Candidates should be present at the exam hall one hour before the commencement of the exam.
- Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all the candidates should wear masks compulsorily.
- As per the guidelines issued by the Government of India due to COVID-19, social distancing will be maintained at the exam center.
- After the completion of each exam shift, the exam center will be sanitized completely.

RRB NTPC Admit Card Stages
The stages of the RRB NTPC Admit Card are as follows:
RRB NTPC CBT 1 admit card: The admit card is issued to the registered candidates for all posts.
RRB NTPC CBT 2 admit card: The admit card for this stage is issued to candidates who qualify the first stage by securing the qualifying marks.
For Typing Skill Test: This stage exam is conducted for the posts of Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper. The admit card is issued to candidates who qualify for the 2nd stage CBT.
For Document Verification & Medical exam: The admit card for this stage will be issued based on their performance in CBAT and Typing skill test.
