The Central Universities Common Entrance Examination (CUET) also known as CUET (Common University Entrance test) will be held as an entrance test for admission to various programs at 53 central universities. After the CUET 2023 Counseling, candidates are offered admission to these programs based on their entrance exam scores. The CUET 2023 Exam is set to take place in the third week of May 2023. Candidates who have passed their 10 + 2 or undergraduate degree can fill out the CUET 2023 Application Form on the official website which is open from 6th April for the eligible students. Each UG and PG program, however, has its own set of qualifying requirements.
What is CUET 2023?
Common University Entrance Test is the acronym for Common University Common Entrance Test. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will administer the cuet test for admission to UG programs across the country. This move will represent a significant departure from the regular college entrance tests. According to the latest update from the UGC Chairman, cuet/CUET can be adopted by any other university across India.
In a word, the CUET Exam will be the entrance exam for all undergraduate programs provided by several central institutions, and it will cover all of them from Delhi University (DU) to Banaras Hindu University (BHU) (BHU). Engineering and medical admissions, on the other hand, would be conducted through JEE and NEET, respectively.

CUET Exam Pattern 2023
Except for the 14 created in 2009 and later, and a few others, Central Universities admitted students to their undergraduate programs based on Class XII Board grades until 2021, putting them under a lot of stress. With ever-increasing cut-offs, many students were unable to attend the greatest of the Central Universities (such as the University of Delhi). Furthermore, because there was no uniformity in terms of syllabus and difficulty among the numerous examination Boards, pupils from some of the Boards gained an unfair edge. Considering all these things UGC has decided to conduct Common University Entrance Test to take admission to all Central universities and other deemed universities. CUET 2023 Exam pattern is divided into 3 sections – language-based, domain-specific, and general test which is common for all the students and includes questions related to general knowledge, current affairs, and general ability. Check out the below table for detailed information on cuet/ CUET Exam pattern
